Kuzi Ayam (Tomato Chicken Curry)

Made with our savoury, aromatic Kari Ayam paste, this recipe is quick, easy and a great way to elevate your Diwali Dinner! 

You can easily omit meat and substitute it with veggies! Our Kari Ayam paste is 100% vegan and will taste great with paneer and other veggies! 

SERVINGS 4 | PREP TIME 10 min | TOTAL TIME 30 min

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tbsp Ghee 
  • 3 tbsp Kari Ayam Paste 
  • 800g Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup Onions, fried 
  • ¼ cup Almonds, blanched and halved (optional) 
  • 1 cup California golden raisins 
  • 1/3 cup Tomato puree
  • 1/3 cup Evaporated milk
  • ¼ cup Water

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Marinate chicken pieces with 1 tbsp Kari Ayam paste. 
  2. In a saucepan, heat ghee and stir fry Kari Ayam paste.
  3. Add chicken and tomato paste, and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Next, add salt, stir in fried onions, almonds, and raisins, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add evaporated milk and water, and cook till the chicken becomes tender.
  6. Ready to serve with rice or roti.
