Servings 4 | Prep Time 10 min | Total Time 30 min

  • 3-4 tbsp  Kopi Thyme’s sauces of your choice 
  • 4-5 Rice Paper, round 
  • ½ cup Oil to fry
  • 7 oz Tofu, pat dry, diced
  • Ground meat of choice (for non vegan recipe)
  • Carrot, diced
  • Green pepper, diced
  • Green onion, chopped
Ingredients to make rice paper nacho with chicken, tofu, Kopi Thyme Nyonya Laksa, carrot and cucumber for toppings
  1. Preheat oil in a shallow pan.
  2. Cut rice papers into triangles using a pair of scissors.  
    Cut rice paper rolls to make triangles for nachos with kopi thyme's recipe ideas.
  3. Drop a piece of rice paper in the oil to test the temperature. If it puffs up immediately, remove and start frying all the rest.
  4. Repeat steps for all the pieces, add hot oil as needed.
  5. Drain and set aside on kitchen towels.
  6. Heat some oil on a separate skillet. Once hot, add Kopi Thyme’s sauce, ground meat or tofu, cook until tofu softens, meat temperature hits 160F.
  7. Once the sauce starts to dry up, turn off the heat and set it aside.
  8. To assemble, stack rice paper crips on a plate. Top with diced carrot, peppers and green onions.
  9. Drizzle the sauce on top. Serve immediately as the crisp gets soggy if kept for a long time.
